These terms cover your use of Kipirti, an Android drawing and animation app published by Hugo Software. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

The licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Kipirti on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app itself, and you may not decompile or reverse-engineer it except where local law expressly permits it.

Your drawings are yours

Everything you create in Kipirti belongs to you. We claim no ownership, no licence and no rights over your drawings, animations or exported files. We never receive them: they stay on your device unless you share them yourself.

You may use what you make in Kipirti for anything you like, including commercial work.

No account, no fees

Version 1 of Kipirti is free. There is no account, no subscription and no in-app purchase. If a future version introduces paid features, the terms in effect at that time will say so, and anything you have already made stays yours and stays accessible.

Back up your work

Your drawings live only on your device, inside the app's private storage. Uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, or losing or resetting the device will delete them permanently, and we have no copy to restore.

If a drawing matters to you, export it as a PNG, GIF or video and keep that file somewhere safe. We are not responsible for work that is lost.

Fair use of the app

Use Kipirti lawfully. You are responsible for what you draw and for anything you choose to share from the app, including whether it infringes anyone else's rights.

The app is provided "as is"

Kipirti is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that exports will work identically on every device — video export in particular depends on the codecs your device's system WebView provides.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost work or lost data, arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms as Kipirti evolves. The current version is always available at this address. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
