Common questions
Why does my line keep moving? That is the whole idea. In Kipirti every stroke is alive — it wobbles, boils and breathes on its own, the way hand-drawn animation does. If you want it calmer, open the menu and lower wobble, or lower fps for a slower boil.
How do I change the brush or the pen size? The slider on the left edge sets the size of whatever tool is in your hand — the pen while drawing, the eraser while erasing. The square under it is your colour; tap it to open the palette. Everything else, including the 14 brushes, lives behind ☰ MENU.
How do I animate? Tap the 🎞 button in the bottom bar. Add a frame, draw the next pose, and press ▶ PLAY. DUPLICATE copies the current frame so you can nudge it instead of redrawing, and onion shows the previous frame faintly behind your hand.
Where do my exports go? Tap EXPORT in the menu and pick PNG, GIF or video. Kipirti writes the file and opens Android's share sheet, so you choose where it lands — Photos, Drive, a chat, anywhere. The app needs no storage permission to do this.
My video came out as .webm instead of .mp4. Video export uses the recorder built into your device's system WebView. Older WebView versions can only produce WebM. Updating Android System WebView from the Play Store usually brings MP4 support.
Will I lose my drawing? Kipirti restores your last drawing automatically when you reopen it. But everything lives only on your device: uninstalling the app, clearing its storage or resetting the phone deletes it for good. If a piece matters, export it and keep the file.
Is there an account, or a way to see other people's drawings? No. Kipirti has no account, no feed and no community. It is a sketchpad, and it works offline.
Are there ads or subscriptions? No. Version 1 is completely free, with no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.
